Let's talk about science, just skimming the surface.

If a neural pathway is used frequently - it becomes stronger.

Neuroplasticity has been successfully used for many years for people with brain injuries, pain management, stroke victims, and areas of mental health, such as ADHD, depression, and anxiety.

  • Fight or Flight, Anxiety is real and a necessary agent to protect an individual from harm. Most anxiety and anxiety attacks we see today are disguised as fight or flight danger when in reality, there is no danger identified.

  • In the most simplistic terms it means if your brain has learned pathways of anxieties that are not based on real threats (fight or flight), you can create new pathways that are more realistic and true.

  • YOU CAN HELP CONTROL THE NARRATIVE!

Let's talk about how music and storytelling work with Neuroplasticity

How It Works for Neuroplasticity

Calming Music: Activates multiple brain areas, including auditory, motor, and emotional regions, reducing stress (cortisol) and increasing dopamine. It helps reset cognitive balance, inducing structural adaptation in the brain's white matter.

Storytelling: Engages the motor, sensory, and frontal cortexes beyond typical language processing areas, leading to neural coupling and release of dopamine.

Mechanism of Change: Music increases brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), acts as Miracle-Gro for neurons to create stronger connections, and optimizes neural pruning
